The failure of the air conditioning did detract from the experience, becaus..."e it meant we had to open the window to get air, which exposed us to the barking of the local dogs and the revving of motorbikes by the inconsiderate locals ( doing this at 4 am hardly complies with any understandiing of acceptable social behaviour). We left early to catch the ferry to Marmaris so had no chance to discuss the situation with Sofia, who was a charming and efficient host, along with her husband. However we hope she gets the A/C fixed for future guests in our room. The TV, with reception limited to about three channels, was also a disappointment. " More >

My room was on a corner it was quiet, no noise at all. The room was very spacious based on a contemporary style with a tiled floor, equipped w..."ith air conditioning, satellite TV, a modern walk in rainfall shower and a very comfy bed. The service in every level was great. As far as the breakfast goes, it was very varied (self-service). Every morning you would find hot and cold food, eggs, sausages, bacon, cakes, yoghurt, cereals, delicatessen, fruit salad, toasts, and various fresh breads! Staff were GREAT! rooms cleaned every day, clean towels etc, domestic staff work so so hard, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and evening meal was wonderful, so much choice, the only let down was how small the restaurant was but that was because they had not yet opened up the front patio due to still a little early in season. The rooms are quite big, bathrooms quite small, we had an adjoining door which was awful as we could hear the next family talking and smoking which was not nice, we did ask to move but the room was not acceptable so we stayed in the original room, so make sure you don't get the adjoining room if you want peace and quite and privacy .
