The place is indeed charming -- for instan..."ce, we enjoyed reading in the salon in front of an open fire -- and our room was lovely. However, there is a bit of "faded elegance" to the place, and for the price of the room (279 euros for one night) we thought there should be more modern touches, like better storage in the bathroom for toiletry items, and much, much better lighting. So we won't be rushing back to the hotel, at least to spend the night, while we will certainly return (often) to the restaurant and also the charming Bistro d'en Face, across the street. " More >
