Poipu is a 30-minute drive to Waimea Canyon, 20-minutes to Port Allen but don't expect to sail to the Napali Coast during the Winter season; we booked the trip well in advance of our vacation only to arrive with 12 - 15 foot swells that prevented us from going, which is a common occurrence.
