  "I stayed with my best friend in the hostel dorm room. I've backpacked around the world and I must say this is by far one of THE BEST hostels I've ever stayed in. In backpacking terms it would be considered a 5-star hostel. The Innkeeper was very friendly from the time we checked-in until we checked-..."out. The dorm room was very cozy with comfortable mattresses, nice clean sheets and blanket, HUGE lockers (which was awesome!). They also had a privacy curtain for each bed and a personal reading light. The bathroom was clean and very well kept and even stocked with helpful items. The chill-out garden in the back of the hostel is very cool and the family room is very nice. This hostel was close walking distance from delicious dining options nearby. I'd highly recommend this hostel to anyone in the area. Next time I'm in the White Salmon area and need accommodations I will definitely choose this hostel again! " More >

The room itself was efficient and super clean; the bathroom/shower small yet with tall ceilings. We were one of several cyclists staying there and enjoyed spending our breakfast vouchers at the nearby 10 Speed coffee shop. The town is far less bustling than its sister city of Hood River, so unless you are using this as a base to explore the incredible surrounding wilderness a night or two is enough. " More >

  "we stayed in room 215 at the back of the hotel...it has not been renovated/modernized. Stayed on a weekday and rates were considerably less than weekend. a nice little "suite" with good bed, nice and clean, very quiet during our stay. other rooms are more "modern". very good coffee in the "commo..."ns" room. nice staff. very good value. if you stay here...go down to everybody's brewery/restaurant and enjoy downtown white salmon.
