  "In search of a budget weekend, we chose Parkview mostly just because it was in Co Wicklow and there was no availability in Glendalough. We were so pleased. One felt welcome and not crowded. The staff were attentive and amiable. We dined at about 8pm on the Sunday night and the food was excellent as was the wine. On Saturday we visited Powerscourt, Sunday we walked from Greystones to Bray and back taking in a little of the jazz festival, Bray and the food festival in Greystones. On Monday as it was on our way home we stopped off in Glendalough and did the upper lake walk before having a marvellous lunch in the Glendalough Hotel.
