Some of these overlook the magnificent new equestrian centre which is one of the draws of this estate: the other draw is weddings and, resulting from that, visits and tours by brides-to-be and their mums. The grounds are stunning and we were able to have a wee look around the castle. But the highlight without a doubt was the food. Both dinner and breakfast were sublime, with plenty to choose from.   "My boyfriend and I just visited Castle Leslie/Glaslough for the first time and I've never been so enchanted by a place. The whole village and estate are from another world, absolutely beautiful. I loved the equestrian theme around the whole lodge. We stayed in the self catering old stable mews, and ..."tried out the horse riding and spa as part of our package. The equestrian facilities are excellent with a fabulous cross country course and indoor and outdoor arenas. My boyfriend was a bit nervous but they gave him a lovely horse, Budweiser, who looked after him. :-) the spa was very nice too. Dinner at snaffles restaurant was nice but I'd it hadn't been included in the package it would have been a bit expensive. Overall though it was One of the best hotel breaks I think we've ever had in Ireland and I would absolutely LOVE to come back. " More >
