  "We have stayed in many travelodges.....but this was far the best we have ever stayed at. It is benefiting form a refurb, not sure if it is still going on, we heard and saw no building works. We noticed the changes immediately and hope that this standard will be going around all the lodges. The be..."d is different and very comfortable, The pillows are different too...we normally have to ask for extra pillows but there were two per person in the room...and they were so deep that we needed only one each. Also the sofa bed was already made up...lovely as we got in quite late, so there was no delay in getting into bed.My pet hate is the grout in the bathroom tiles, that I find had soap residue etc in...however with the white sheets put in, this has eliminated this problem. The only thing missing was a chair. Oh yes and the tv had more channels than the normal lodge.Despite being next to a busy road we slept through the whole night.
