If you are new to Wilmington, the Hampton Inn is a little tricky to find since it sits waaayyy back off the main road and there's no sign directly on Rt22 that points you to it.   "I stood in this hotel for business for two nights and the room was very clean and I love the fact where the sheets and duvet are changed with every guest. The bathroom was very large and the room temperature worked well. The housekeeper left enough towels and I never had to ask for anything. Sinc..."e this hotel is in a rural area I found it to be exceptionally quiet at night which is a nice change from a large hotel chain where the hallways are always loud at nighttime. The only issue I found was the bathroom sink stopper seem closed all the time but I informed the front desk at check out so they can fix it for the next guest. Breakfast was always ready at 6am and they offered a large variety of items. For the two mornings they had eggs and sausage on one morning and the next morning was omelets with french toast.
