  "We stayed at Amble Wren in May 2013 and would rate our 3 night stay as perfect. The cottage is very cosy for a couple. It was drizzly and cold ( for Queenslanders) but it was easy and quick to warm the room when we arrived. After receiving instructions via text message we let ourselves in and inst..."antly made ourselves at home with coffee and toast. In fact we did not meet our host Di until our third and last night. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and quite spacious. Even with a big cooked breakfast the first morning there were sufficient goodies to meet our breakfast needs for the 3 days. We enjoyed the chocolates and port so much we sourced Chocolat and purchased 3 more boxes for gifts. Location is ideal for a very easy walk into town although Hahndorf seemed to close up at 5pm on a Tuesday night.
