  "First, let me start by saying this resort is beautiful, the landscaping is impressive, and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I love that the valet takes your car and golf clubs, and you never need your car again until you check out (shuttle buses get you around the resort and the wait is ..."never more than 5 minutes). Your clubs are waiting for you each day at the proper course. The hotel is steeped in history - its walls are covered with the golf history of Pinehurst - very interesting. While the hotel exterior and public rooms are beautiful, the rooms are quite basic. The size of my room was great. After reading TripAdvisor reviews, I requested a King corner room for our trip. My request was honored and we were in the East wing, last room. It was extremely quiet. The bedroom was quite large, but the furnishings and décor were basic.
