  "I stayed for 3 nights in a 4-bed villa in Central Thompson (known as the 'settlement'). As most people who stay, my movement around the whole island was mainly by bike. However if that's not for you, then Thompson Bay is the place to stay - its 5mins walk from the visitors centre & shopping area, ..."and maybe 10mins max to the hotel. I was in Villa 321, which had a front courtyard with table & chairs that overlooked the water; however it did have the road & a tree inbetween the villa and the ocean. I would recommend getting a villa on the water side - they have balconies (rather than courtyard) with uninterrupted views, but they were all fully booked. The villa was a good size, large dbl room & slightly smaller room with twin beds, each with robe area. The lounge was big, 2 sofa's & flatscreen tv, with open kitchen attached. All clean. Just wish it had been a little warmer so we could have spent longer on one of the wonderful secluded beaches dotted around the island.
