  "We were on a business trip at Mauritius from 22nd to 30th Apr'13 and had a wonderful time in this hotel. The location was excellent as it had a very good turquoise beach around. As the name suggests, the hotel is located in Grand Baie, one of the most 'happening' area in Mauritius and the North end ..."of the country. It took us around 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach there from the International Airport. 'Grand Bay Suites' has a supermarket 'Super-2000' just next door so it becomes very easy for the tourists to get anything they want. The staff especially Juliet, Nicolas & Ajay were extremely co-operative and ever ready to help at any point of time. We had also hired a private car from Ben Chinnapah and he was also very co-operative to go out of the way to help the tourists.   "We have just returned from Mauritius having had a wonderful stay at the Merville Beach Hotel. We have been many times to Mauritius as my husband is Mauritian and we usually rent an apartment in Pereybere ,on this occasion we decided to stay at the Merville Beach and we found it perfect in every way...."The beach is fabulous and very suitable for safe swimming ,the superior room had a delightfully authentic Mauritian feel to it ,we so enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunsets over the sea each evening. The food was excellent with a themed buffet menu each evening and the staff were without exception utterly professional,helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Do not be misled by the 3 star status of this hotel ! I have stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world and whilst they have been the essence of comfort they are all quite similar and indeed forgettable.   "My husband and I , celebrated our 2 nd year anniversary in Mauritius. I have been there 7 times before and have always loved Mauritius. We LOVED every minute of this gorgeous small and intimate resort in the northern part of Mauritius. It took us 1 hour to get to this hotel by taxi from the airport..." and there we were greeted with really friendly staff of Coin De Mire. From that moment it was just pure bliss and heaven. The staff knew previously about our arrival as I e mailed the general manager , Ravi prior to our arrival. We were welcomed with cool clothes and coconut water. After 15 minutes we were able to enter our deluxe suite. It was gorgeous ! Our Room was cleaned 2x a day and it was always spotless and clean towels provided. No fault there in the housekeeping department.A safe is provided to put away valuables and great spacious area to stack away the suitcases and put away clothes and shoes.
