  "We stayed here for six nights as part of a two week trip to Vietnam. - It takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport, we were collected by the hotel shuttle bus. Friendly welcome, cold towel, drink and taken to the room by the receptionist. -We had a normal room, number 101,..." and it was lovely. Very comfortable four poster bed with mosquito nets. Very big, powerful shower. -The hotel is French Colonial style and is gorgeous. Beautifully kept gardens. - The pool is very warm with padded sun loungers. - The beach is the perfect place to watch the sunset from every evening again with soft sun loungers. The hotels part of the beach is very clean as the staff maintain it well, the rest of Long beach (particularly if you turn right) has a lot of litter but I knew that from reading before we went. - good selection of Vietnamese and Western food at the buffet breakfast with fresh egg, pho and waffle station.   "We were lucky enough to stumble upon Cassia through Trip Advisor when looking for honeymoon accomodation (also for the Phu Quoc half marathon.....long story). The guest services and warm caring conversations with the clearly interested staff were quite amazing. Even more impressive are the room ..."sizes and facilities!!!! Very comfortable and definitely worth the money! The on-site restaurant has some of the best meals we ate in vietnam, and were quite affordable too! With a cheap happy hour and view of the ocean and swaying palm trees, you WILL NOT FIND BETTER I'm sure! (did I mention the whole resort is whisper quiet?!!!) quality!!! " More >

  "I booked through Booking.com and got a decent price for a beachfron bungalow. I agree with the review Beesway has written. If you want all the freebies go to a Hilton or some other such chain. This place is a family run establishment I think and the location is perfect on Long Beach. The rooms are b..."asic and aircon is too expensive but there is a breeze usually through the night and the fan provided was more than adequate. I loved lounging in the hammocks on the balcony and taking the 10 steps or so to the gorgeously warm sea for a swim. This place is unfairly reviewed in my opinion and I think you should try it yourself before reading the negative reviews. A word of warning though. The restaurant out front on the beach (is not owned or run by the hotel) is Awful with a capital A!!! The staff are condescending, rude and obnoxious. Their food is pretty awful too. Please...don't waste your money on this place especially when the restaurant next door (behind the spa) is wonderful. The s... " More >
