  "Greeted by friendly staff, we had a large comfortable room, did not hear any other guests. Good breakfast, and a great plus for us complimentary dinner, wine and beer fantastic!, in a cafe style environment, slow sometimes to cope with the number of people. We used the bus opposite the CVS (Apx. 1..."0mins walk from hotel), to get in to the city with no problems, bus takes 25mins and puts you off at Port Authority Bus Terminal, you exit on 9th Avenue, its five minutes from Times Square, we returned using the bus mostly at rush hour but had no problems and very little wait time at the terminal. This hotel is ideally situated, if you don't mind taking the bus or ferry, bus cost 12$ for two round trip. " More >

Firstl..."y, the Homewood Suites are in an excellent position - you don't have to worry about driving into the heart of New York - which believe me, would be frightening. The Homewood Suites are a stones throw across the river with plenty of parking, personal shuttle to the ferry to New York (8 minutes away), and in a quiet neighbourhood. But the best thing is you still have a wonderful view of New York, which is a spectacle all of its own, especially at night. Then there is the staff. They are extra helpful without being condescending, and you really feel as if nothing is too much trouble. Then there is the breakfasts and the dinners.
