The great flower and truffles that we got on entering our room on arrival was a treat as well. So inviting! Weather in early June was a little too cool to use the swimming pool but my husband and I enjoyed stargazing and drinking wine from the hot tub in the evenings. And it was--I cannot think of the last time we have been at an inn with such an attention to every detail, from the beautifully decorated rooms and overall inn, to the restful grounds (and wonderful wraparound porch) to the amenities in our room that allowed us to move right in for four days.
