Loved everything about it.. Though a few areas might be worth looking into.. 1. when someone uses the chairs in the kitchen area, you can hear them grate across the tiles on the floor. Maybe some felt on the bottom to help muffle the sound? 2. a way to open the windows a bit further if you are just two adults in the room. I do understand the safety issues, but would have been nice to have a really good breeze coming in. 3. might want to turn the burners on the stove on. We did and the burning smell was quite strong.   "It's been several years since we've stayed here. It's a little tricky to get to and it's right next to the freeway, but it's very nice other than the location. We asked for a quiet room and were given a room on the 3rd floor on the front of the building. It was very quiet. The rooms had recently..." been redecorated and everything was new and lovely. Our room was quite small but the space was well organized. There wasn't even a closet - just a rack attached to the wall. The bathroom was the smallest I can ever remember having at a Fairfield Inn. The basin was tucked into the corner by the doorway. It was a 1 person facility for sure, but it was clean and the shower was great, and there was another mirror in the entry, which I used to get myself "together", so it all worked out. When we registered there were hot chocolate chip cookies and pizza available. We had the cookies, but passed on the pizza because we were going out to dinner.   "Looking for an overnight place to rest in the Portland Maine area led me to find this property. It was the same price as some lesser places, but worth the price. It had many of the usual amenities, but the room, that's where the true comfort was to be had. There was a small but from well equipped k..."itchenette with a nice dining table for two. With a separate bedroom from the small living room area, one could watch tv from comfortable sofa or the bedroom if your traveling as a family. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They advertise a complementary dinner Monday throught Thursday, which I missed, but the complementary hot breakfast was a treat. With Sebago Brewing Company on the other side of the parking lot. I didn't have far to go for dinner. Its location was an easy off and back on to I-95, with the Maine Mall very near-by.
