It was perfect for us. The view off of any room is breathtaking, as they all look out into the ocean and beach. We loved the small size of Sea Chest, as it didn't feel like I had to worry about our kids getting lost in the shuffle or fight for a good place at the pool. If my kids needed anything while we were swimming (like using the restroom), they could walk up to our room themselves as all the rooms are still visible from the pool, and close enough to feel comfortable.   "Been here twice. Once a couple years ago for a few weeks and once just last week for 6 days. Both great. Have seen a few bad reviews of the owner but she is actually nice, just doesn't speak good English and has to deal with a-holes often so give her a break! We weren't in the room often but if she spotted us she would ask if we wanted room service or even just new towels, very nice lady. You wont find anything closer to the beach for this price, and the rooms have always been clean and A/C worked great. They have started to upgrade to flatscreen TV's but don't think they are in every room yet. Internet! Very important to geeks like me and my buddy. Repeaters are on the top floor at least, but even in the lower floor in the corner we got a few bars so cheers for that.
