The hotel is nice in that it's inside access to rooms via elevator in the lobby. The front desk clerks in the evening and morning were very friendly, professional, and helpful - which goes a long way in itself. We had a room on the top (4th) floor. The window in our room was open when we arrived, so we closed it to allow the A/C to cool the room down - which it did very well. The room was clean and was very spacious - which was a nice surprise (it was a King with a sofa), although I got the sofa room so we could watch TV without having to lay in bed, but the sofa was not situated very good for TV watching.   "We booked this hotel on Priceline. When we checked in, we were upgraded to the top floor, corner room closest to the ocean. Beautiful view and very quiet. Rooms have recently been re-done, everything is new. Bathrooms are a bit small but otherwise we had no complaints. The pool area is nice and the ..."beach was uncrowded. The hotel does not provide beach chairs but there is a rental company right by the steps to go down to the beach. $20 for 2 chairs and umbrella for the day. Since we were staying for 5 days, we purchased chairs at the store down the street for much less. John the bellperson deserves much praise! We was so helpful and recommended a local restaurant and made the reservations. Truly above and beyond. All the staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were very clean and comfortable. There are safe deposit boxes at the front desk for valuables. Plenty of towels and beach towels are provided. " More >

Beautiful view and very quiet because there were only maybe 6 guest rooms on this floor with 4 conference rooms that were used infrequently. Our room was large with a refrigerator and very clean. Bathrooms are a nice size with ..."a rain shower. The pool area is nice and the beach was not crowded. The hotel does not provide beach chairs but there is a rental company right at the steps to go down to the beach. $20 for 2 chairs and umbrella for the day. Free Starbucks coffee in the lobby in the morning and water with fruit slices all day.
