  "My friend and I have had a "girls weekend" here 5 years in a row and while it was hard to get used to the new changes (and there were many) we settled in with the help of the staff for a wonderful weekend. They have changed the whole flavor of the front desk/lobby/lobby bar area. It used to be a ver..."y warm relaxing area with couches, fire places & dark paneling. It still has couches but it also lost the warm touches. It is very stark, clean & crisp with lots of white marble. Beautiful, just very different from what we were used to. I will have to say that we had decided to go to the Ritz next year (and even went to look at it) but the staff has convinced us otherwise. I will name the ones who really went above and beyond -- Tammy in Guest Services was wonderful. Always quick with a smile with a friendly greeting and asking if there was ANYTHING at all that she could do, the cleaning staff Vivian & Jessica who did an amazing job on our room daily to Pam the hostess at breakfast along... The service here was expectional, they had an attendant in the back to help direct you, answer questions, tell u the time, whatever ... The glass walls in the waiting halls are exceptional. And very relaxing lounges. I have to rave about the reflexology. It is fantastic. I don't remember the name of the male therapist, but I had him for at least two treatments in the past, and he is great!! I also had the shower treatment there, I've never found it anywhere else, it is unbelievable!! The jets all over your body, are at first alarming, but then disarming.
