  "This was my group's second trip to Big Pine Fishing Lodge. We brought our boat with us this time, and stayed here because they had the best rates we could find in the Keys. Since it was during the slow season, the Campsite let us change our site so we weren't close to other campers. We had a site on..." the water (Tent camping, with no hook-ups) and fished off the shore. I would have liked to have a fire, but, we didn't bring a fire pit to keep it off the ground. After leaving and making it all the way back home, we realized we left our boat keys and a ball cap at the boat ramp. Fortunately the Campsite was incredibly helpful in mailing them back to us and letting us pay for the postage over the phone. We plan on returning on our next trip to the keys! My only suggestion for the campsite... An outhouse closer to the tent campsites would be a nice addition. " More >

Also great for snorkeling to see all kinds of critters--jellyfish, lobsters, and all kinds of corals and seaplants. The facilities are always very clean and kept in good working order. Amenities include boat ramp, laundry room, game room, bait/tackle and little store, marina gas, boat rentals, and more.
