  "My husband and I were married across the street from the Martine Inn on the bay at sunset in 2003. So for our 10 year anniversary we decided to return and stayed in the same room (the Parke Room). The Inn is beautiful, the staff is very accommodating, and the location is unbeatable. Our room (Pa..."rke) was large with gorgeous bay-facing windows, a wood-burning fireplace, a refrigerator, canopy bed, and a beautiful bathroom with a clawfoot tub. Who needs anything else?! The inn is directly across the street from the bay and a nice pedestrian/bike path, just down the street from Cannery Row, and within walking distance of numerous cute shops and good restaurants. There was a wine and hors d'oeuvres happy hour in the evenings and amazing breakfasts in the mornings plus a paper outside your room. We slept really well with the windows open so we could hear the bay and the seals in the evenings. The proerty itself is very clean and well-maintained with gorgeous antique furniture throughout....   "We've stayed here probably a dozen times over the last 15 years or so. Every time has been great. Great friendly staff, and breakfast in the morning. Breakfast used to be better, now kind of limited. Still a great value for the area, and really does feel like home and not just a hotel."
