I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the past year, due to business in the area. And, while there is very little choice in accomodations, I would choose to stay here for ..."no other reason than the people. Every time I check in, the desk staff are warm and welcoming. They are very informative about the area, and the many ways to see the Navajo Nation. They are very proud of their area and their heritage, and are very open about their desire to share with guests. The best part of this hotel is the staff. No request was too big, or too small. And, the rooms are completely cleaned EVERY day. It is so nice to come in from a long day sight-seeing, or working, to find CLEAN sheets and towels, and everything in its place.   "Not that there is much choice in Window Rock accommodation-wise, but the Quality Inn was just fine. Arrived late in the evening after an all day meeting and then a three-plus hour drive. Desk clerk was welcoming, quick with the check-in and keys and breakfast meal tickets. Exterior entrances ..."to all of the rooms - a plus for access, a minus for being able to open windows. Reminded me of an older Holiday Inn. Room was decently furnished with nice bathroom. Good mattress. Decent wifi. Don't recall any noise between rooms, though I don't think I had any immediate neighbors. The breakfast coupon entitled you to one of three set breakfasts, though the waitstaff was pretty flexible on how you composed your breakfast. Quick service, good food. " More >

  "If you want a friendly, cross- cultural experience, in a beautiful setting, then this is it. This was the setting for a Navajo Weaving class ( check it out at Weaving in Beauty) and it was delightful. The hotel is not fancy, but very clean, comfortable and quiet. It is close to a number of historic ..."sites such as Chaco Canyon and is in the heart of trading posts areas such as Hubbell. The scenery in the area is amazing. The staff is very helpful and the on- site dining room features both southwest and Navajo meals. One downside is the inconsistent Internet access, but they have a business center which is hard wired and very accessible. This has been a great experience. Remember that this hotel on the Navajo reservation and those laws may be different from the rest of Arizona. No alcohol is served in the hotel. " More >
