Even if you are not a bird watcher (as I am not), the ride through the sanctuary can be relaxing. Be there during roosting time (sunrise/sunset) to feel one with nature. very central to a large number of sites- its 30-45 minutes from Fatehpur Sikri and Agra. We did Taj, Agra in the morning, saw the city and were back just before dinner time to a relaxing drink by the pool side. The pool though is a bit smaller but then we were not there for the Olympics!
