  "I stayed at Zhuo Ma's for 2 nights last month on my first trip to Jiuzhaigou. The home stay was what made the trip so worthwhile - I can't imagine a better or more authentic way to experience this place than having Zhuo Ma's as a home base. It doesn't feel like a hostel or hotel; it's truly a home -..." simple, cozy, delicious, and friendly. It felt like I was staying with extended family, the hosts were so gracious and helpful, the food was amazing, and the view from our bedroom window in the morning was one of the best i've ever had. You can tell how much pride they take in keeping their guests comfortable and happy. Formerly not a fan of Tibetan food, the 3 days I spent eating at the home stay - and especially down in the restaurant run by Zhuo Ma's brother Ke Zhu closer to town - successfully converted me.   "Nice and clean hotel, very good alternative to Sheraton and much cheaper"
  "We stayed 5 nights, April 2013, 2 rooms. The hotel is close to the park entrance, 5 min by taxi, 20 min by walking (unlike Inter Continental or Holiday Inn, they are quite far away, it takes 30 min by taxi!). The rooms were big and clean. Chinese breakfast was okay, dinner was excellent. The menu (o..."n an iPad) has pictures and English descriptions. Staff was always very helpful (e.g. had to put medicine in the fridge in the kitchen, as there is no minibar in the room), few spoke little English. Be aware they only accept cash. ATM available at the park entrance. The hotel is a very good alternative to the Sheraton next to it, which is way more expensive. Would definitely stay there again. " More >
