  "I arrived to Casa Tamaya on my own and without a reservation. The room available was upstairs with a shared bathroom. The room was small but pleasant and clean, with a chest of drawers and television. The bathroom was very clean, modern and, yes, the water was hot. I had to share with two other room..."s and at no stage did this present an inconvenience. There is access to a simple but clean kitchen and an outdoors common area in a pleasant garden. Breakfast was the usual Chilean; fresh hot bread, ham and cheese, marmalade and manjar, as well as cornflakes, tea cake, biscuits, yoghurt and (too sweet) fruit juice. Again the presentation and service was very good. Access is monitored and 24 hours, which did wake me when someone rang the bell to enter at 4am. This is the only down side to Casa Tamaya, however.
