As others have mentioned there are alot of steps down to the sea and the driveway from the road is very steep. The manager was very helpful and attentive to our wishes. The only downside for us was that we booked the hotel through Venere and although the booking page states that the room price is for your whole stay and includes halfboard, VAT and taxes it does not include halfboard and the €20 extra per person is not included in the total price, Venere customer services have not even bothered to reply to my email. The bathroom was clean and worked fine - we didnt have a rainshower which some reviewers mention, which we were fine with, but some may be dissapointed if you are expecting this in all rooms. We were a little worried about the noise at night and in the early morning as the rooms are off a spirally stone staircase but everyone is considerate and noise was no problem at all - I am a light sleeper! and didnt hear the nearby mosque at all.
