I'm so glad for the upgrade b/c of our access to the North Beach which was breathtaking. We spent most of our time laying out by the beach. We did a snorkle tour through the hotel which was a little pricey, but well worth it since it was a private snorkle tour. We saw a ton of fish as well as string rays and turtles. One main negative is that everything is really expensive. I understand that it's a lot to import to the Seychelles but it seemed completely over the top with some stuff.   "Ephelia is a huge resort surrounded by a lush and enchanting nature. We stayed in a JS (323) which was located at the end of south beach. At the very beginning we were disappointed as the room was far from the main building, but starting from the second day we appreciated the short morning walk to ..."Carossol restaurant (5' walk) for breakfast and enjoyed the tranquil location. We strongly suggest JS clusters 300 and 400 (the latter next to Helios restaurant) as they are quiter and have more privacy. JS located on the first floor have a large terrace and more privacy than those on ground floor. Cluster 100 JS are a little bit noisy as they are next to Corossol restaurant and staff rooms, while next to cluster 200 JS there are heavy works going on starting from early morning as the resort is building new suites.
