  "When you arrive at Urumqi airport, you have to negotiate the price with taxi drivers before you get in (don't be fooled, the offical rate is only RMB 50). If you do not speak Chinese, you should bring your reservation with Chinese version included, to show it to the taxi driver, otherwise you're in ..."for an adventure.The hotel is well located next to a shopping mall. Staff in general are nice and efficient, but they speak very little English. My first room was small (2012) but when I changed I got really a nice and large room (2904) on the opposite side. The bathroom was large and modern, with bathtub and shower. I found that room service (open until 11:30 pm) has more options with local and international cuisine than the lunch buffet at the restaurant. The gym on the 6th floor is open from 6am to 11pm and is very good. All in all a positive experience. " More >
