  "We chose the Gloucester Luk Kwok mainly for its central location conveniently close to Wan Chai subway station, for a 3 night stay in May. Although the reception is on the ground floor (next door to the local Lamborghini showroom!), the rooms run between floors 20 & 29, which are accessed by 3 high-..."speed elevators. Our room was on the 29th floor, facing inland with a fantastic view over the city. The room & bathroom were comfortable and clean, with free wi-fi internet access. Vouchers were provided for a complementary drink in the reception bar. The cost of breakfast was not included in the price, so we ate over the street at some of the many cheap restaurants just opposite the hotel in Jaffe Road. Nice though the hotel was, I can't help feeling that it trades on its previous fame as the haunt of Suzie Wong. It wasn't cheap at HK$1495 + HK$149.50 per night service charge; considering that although pleasant, it had no particularly ‘special' features. " More >
