  "We broke our journey here between Austria and Amsterdam After just turning up, they had the most fabulous family room - I mean huge which we got for €100 B&B for one night. It had one double, two single beds, sofa area with TV and a small kitchenette area all open plan. The ensuite was a bit 70s ..."and didn't quite match with the rest of the room but we didn't care. It had a balcony and a great view. The hotel was a bit tired looking but I liked the quirky charm. It's been in the same family since the 30s. We had a great dinner and the host brought out some toys for our kids unprompted. Only thing to note for UK travellers is that smoking is still allowed in the bar which is where we were eating as it was a quiet time. " More >
