You should have previously informed the hotel of your travel arrangements and they plan the transfers efficiently from flight to launch and you are able to "check in" while on the 55 minute transfe..."r which saves time when you arrive. Checkout is equally efficient. The resort is quite spread out with rooms on 3 or 4 levels and covering probably at least half a Kilometer across. There is a main pool area (or pools area) with a large poolside Bar - those who want exercise can do 100 meter laps in two pools, and there is are also 2 other more sedate pools near the bar, for those who laze in the ample number of loungers. There are ground floor rooms with balconies where you can enter the pools. All rooms seem to have balconies where you can relax with a book etc The beach is right at your doorstep off the pool.   "We only had a day on Hayman Island but a great taste of what the island resort has on offer and a million reasons to go back for a longer stay. We arrived early in the morning by Air Whitsunday Seaplanes and immediately fell in love with the place. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, a true tropic..."al paradise with gorgeous orchids and a myriad of tropical plants. The pool is to die for with plenty of room for everyone. If you look up Hayman in the dictionary I'm sure it will say RELAX. You can't help it. We headed out for a snorkel trip to beautiful Blue Pearl Bay II and the crew looked after us fabulously with chairs, beach umbrella and all our snorkel equipment, dropped us off in their boat and picked us up to go back to the resort when we were ready. Highly recommend spending a day at this great snorkel spot and if staying at the hotel you can arrange a picnic lunch basket to take. Heaps of beautiful fish and lots of coral.   "My family and I had the most amazing 3 days on Hayman Island. Service all round was great and was exceptional in the water sports department, nothing was to much to ask for and I'd like to mention that Lauren was amazing with assisting our family and making our trip a memorable one. "
