You can take a quick trip to the 'Town Square' where there are restaurants, cafes, post office, supermarket etc. You can get everything you need here and whilst they could charge whatever prices they ..."wanted, we found the prices to be reasonable. Shuttles are also provided to get you to and from the campground to the main township. The campsite itself was fine and a quick walk up a small hill provided unhindered views of Uluru and KataTjuta. The amenities were very clean and there were quite a few washing machines scattered throughout the campground which was refreshing. The pool was a very welcome relief after a hot day of hiking and the outback grill at night was great. Food was plentiful and reasonably priced and the kids had a great time listening to the entertainment and playing pool.
