  "This place was better than we expected. We opted for 500 baht bungalow with AC. Clean and comfortable it is very near the river and just outside of town. Restaurant on premises is good and reasonably priced. Thai coconut soup and curries were excellent."

  "We stayed at Apple House in Tha Ton for 1 night on 1 January. That morning we left Fang on our cycle trip and planned to take a boat from Tha Ton to Chiang Rai the next day. The French guide, Routard, recommended Apple House and we decided to give it a try. The staff showed us a simple room in the b..."ack but we asked about and then opted for a bungalow on the river side. The bungalow was very comfortable and clean. Everything worked fine. The views of the river and the Tha Ton wat on the hill are stunning. The restaurant is along the river and quite good. The staff and owner were very helpful. They arranged our boat trip to Chiang Rai including our 2 Bike Fridays. We enjoyed Tha Ton and Apple House. " More >
