  "Just back from a break at the Talbot Carlow and it was one of the best hotels I've ever been too. The room was large, modern and beds were very comfy. The swimming pool is fantastic. We ate in the bar and had fantastic food for a very good price. The chicken wings and pasta carbonara were amazing. W..."e got breakfast brought up to the room. all of our full irish breakfasts were pipping hot and very yummy and was delivered right on time. I will definitely return to the Talbot Carlow. Public areas of the hotel are pleasant if showing signs of wear in some places, ( minor wear on stair carpet and on the comfortable sofa arms, nothing to detract from the appeal though). Our bedroom was a large family room with a most comfortable double and a single bed. the bathroom was of a good size and everywhere was clean. Couldn't fault the sleep quality. Food.. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and all to a good quality. We ate in both restaurants and had good food with excellent service on each occasion.
