Our girls were enamoured with the kids playroom and could have stayed there for the entire trip. We were also pleasantly surprised with the communal dining room and the choices of food offered. One had the option to eat inside or outside in the courtyard. The location is unbeatable, as the hotel is in the middle of the old town of Meersburg and everything is located within walking distance. A big bonus factor in considering staying in this hotel was the ease of access from public transport. All in all we really liked this place and would definitely recommend it. " More >

The room central heating works well in the cold, and the window shutters can be let down to keep out the chill if necessary before Spring kicks in !   "We arrived late morning, much earlier than check in and to our delight were taken straight to our room. Some of the reviews we felt were a bit harsh and we are so glad we did not allow these to make us book somewhere else to stay. Our hosts English was very good. My surname is hard to pronounce in..." English but no problem for our German host. The room was just like the picture and with the windows closed we could not hear any traffic noise. Yes the floor boards did creak but you expect that in older buildings. We were towards the end breakfast but this was no problem as fresh eggs were made and were cooked to perfection. The rest of the selections were all fresh, plentiful and delightful. In fact this hotel had the best breakfast on this trip. Thank you both. After a long day exploring the old town, castle & a boat trip over to Switzerland we sat for a while on our balcony when black clouds came over threatening to rain on us.
