Very comfy bed (I have a bad back, so it even worked for me!). TV available but few English channells except for BBC News. No tea/cofffee making facilities available, but think that's pretty normal in Europe. Air-conditioning in the room. Great shower and facilities in the bathroom - nice and clean and modern. The breakfast was great (buffet), and lots of choices. Fantastic service in the restaurant (same place as for breakfast), and the food was just devine! There is a solarium and gym at the top of the hotel, which has the most breath taking views, and a great place to have a cigarett and coffee. Highly recommended. " More >

Beautifully remodelled, with combination of old/new architecture, the rooms are wonderful, there are great public spaces, and an outstanding spa. The loc..."ation, right on the side of the lake, is perfect, and protected from public view and the promenade by large grounds and mature trees. As always with properties at this level, it's the staff that make it. They were consistently excellent, and in only 4 - 5 days they became friendly, familiar faces. This is an outstanding property in every way and I can not praise it enough - it is a perfect base from which to explore the surprisingly vibrant town, and a local area with an abundance of walking and bike trails. It is stunning to look over the lake especially as the sun rises up over the mountains in the morning. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful and as this is a small hotel you felt as though they treated you as individuals. The food was plentiful and as well as an extensive buffet breakfast unexpectedly they also had boiled and scrambled eggs and bacon available every morning. For your evening meal you had a choice of three starters and mains and selected them the previous evening.
