We had a balcony and we could see the sea, although the view directly outside was of a sports ground. Still we enjoyed having the balcony and our side was probably quieter than having a room that looked onto the pool. We had breakfast each day at the hotel. There was a large selection of breakfast items including fresh fruit and hot croissants each day. The system for getting coffee could be improved, as you wait for a server to come and take your order, and at busy times they did not come right away. But that was the only complaint. Saturday night was very noisy, because it is close to a piazza where there was an aerobics demonstration with very loud music that rattled our windows! Nice hotel staff and good breakfast included in the room cost. Parking is not at the hotel, but you can unload in a small area and then move to public parking a couple of blocks away. This was the best par..."t of the stay! the room was very basic, with old furniture but it was clean and quiet. The pool was very nice, not busy. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Breakfast was ok, served outside if the weather was nice. We had dinner in the hotel on our last day, and have to say, it was very good, better than in some local restaurants, so if you want to save yourself the hustle of booking in advance (sometimes it's required with popular restaurants) just go for it and you won't regret it.
