All the staff were so helpful and enthusiatic and took care of everything so that we could just enjoy the day! The rooms we had were at the front of the hotel and the bridal suite (lowther suite) and they were amazing! All our guests seemed happy with their rooms. We did have some guests with mobility issues and its true that the hotel is big and there's lots of stairs, but the hotel were very accommodating and put guests in rooms close to lifts & lobby if needed. The rooms are clean and well maintained (unlike Eastleigh see my review on that dump) and at 6 foot 6" tall and 17stone I had no problems with the size of the bed and I didn't find the wif..."e on the floor in the morning so the bed must be big enough!   "We stayed for two nights while visiting friends in Manchester and thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. Sue and David made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible - David even gave us a lift to a restaurant in Bollington when we arrived exhausted ..."(but that service doesn't come as part of the B&B offer!). Wonderful, very large bedroom, very well appointed with king-size bed and dual-aspect windows onto the farmyard and the beautiful Cheshire Peak District countryside. Outstanding breakfasts, with plenty of choice - I particularly recommend the smoked salmon eggs benedict, served on a crumpet: fabulous.
