  "The last time I stayed in a hotel was 2007 we just don't have the time or money to spend on them nowadays. We had a two day visit to the Duke of Edinburgh last week as part of a wedding group and it was great. I havent visited Barrow for at least 10 years and its come on leaps and bounds. This hotel..." was just wonderful. Its a large victorian building thats been completely renovated to a great standard. The rooms are big with all mod cons and the mattress was the best Ive slept on. Bar and restaurant are very good indeed. Food is quality and I counted at least 8 different real ales on tap. The wedding reception was handled with professionalism and class, no problems with the kids running around in such a posh place. Promised a good review and here it is chaps! " More >
