The new complex is stunning and is complemented by all the staff we met, who all went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We enjoyed two nights in the Meridian and the Show Bar, the young female singer was very good. The coarse fishing on site was exceptional, again the guys that run it were pleasant and helpful. The only time we ventured off site was for a Sunday lunch at the Roos Arms (quality food) in the local village. We did some homework before we travelled so we knew all about the coastal erosion but we still had a pleasant walk for an hour or so, one thing I will say is don't go to this part of the Yorkshire coast if your expecting St Tropez !!   "Just returned from a 4 day break. The caravan was clean and ours was in a lovely position overlooking fields. The caravan was spacious in most areas with the exception of the toilet which was a tiny room! Saying this we had no complaints about the caravan. The kitchen was fine for our needs but I wo..."uld recommend taking a baking tray for the oven and some tinfoil. No noise at night either which meant you could sleep well! The play areas were great for our 3 year old he love spending time in the soft play and outdoor one. We went swimming several mornings in the pool, the changing rooms were very clean. The pool itself was lovely nice temperature and a little slide for the children and very clean. The sauna was great and steam room. The bar was nice which served food although we did not eat on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not use the entertainment as we tended to go out sightseeing so cannot comment on it! The site is a way out so a car is essential to get... " More >
