The main pluses are the staff who are excellent, be it the receptionists, restaurant staff or the cleaners who clearly do a fantastic job, are helpful, friendly and prompt. The guests seem to be made up of skilled construction workers and solitary civil servants, all well behaved and quiet during my stay. I was checked in quickly and with a smile and the receptionist was quick to deliver an ironing board to my room when requested. Very helpful indeed. At the Green Man you'll enjoy free WiFi with a good high speed connection. The accommodation block is to the rear of the pub, a quite plain but clean place over 3 floors.
