However the room was pretty ordinary but nonetheless clean with comfy beds which are our two main criter..."ia. We had lovely lake views from our room with a tiny little balcony opening off it. The big surprise for us was our dinner on both nights - we were doing the Norway in a Nutshell tour and dinner was included. Many years of travel mean that we don't have particularly high expectations of included dinners - good basic food usually, sometimes quite bland. Not so at the Park - poached salmon with caramelised onions, tender beef fillet with roast vegies and creme brulee with fresh berries on the first night.
