My room was superbly decorated with a queen size bed and a bathroom that was clean and modern. The view from my room was of the surrounding mountains and it could not be beat as to beauty as I sat on my balcony. Breakfast was also excellent, with home made breads and jams, freshly sliced fruit, cheeses and meats and eggs could be had on order too. To top it off, from check-in to check-out, the staff was most helpful and friendly. The Gasthoff Fraundorfer is best place to stay in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area hands down!! " More >

  "As a first time visitor to Europe this was a truly wonderful experience. Yes checking in was a slight challenge. Going to the bar to locate manager and the room on the third floor was a challenge with suitcases. That just added to the charm. Wonderful views of Garmish, The Olympic ski jump and Alps...." You can sit on your balcony and enjoy the views or go down to the patio and sit outside an enjoy a beer or Radler while taking in the sites. We really enjoyed the European breakfast which is included. The home made jams and fresh breads and meats were to die for. THe rooms were clean and beds firm. Down comforter kept you warn so we could sleep with the window open and enjoy the fresh air. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner at the Gasthof was very good. Generous portions and good food. Saturday night was an experience with live music down stairs with a packed house. Our stay at the Panorama was enjoyable and I look forward to returning one day. Thank you " More >
