One receptionist was very friendly, another less so and the sofa bed creaked loudly. A strange (but not overpowering) odour from the shower drain was a very minor inconvenience...", as was the loud creaking from the sofa bed. All in all perfectly adequate for the price.   "This hotel could not have been in a better, more convenient position. The Railway Station was within easy walking distance; there was a tram stop a few metres up the road (to the left on leaving the front door) and, when walking to the right, one reached the castle, the Information Bureau and the ol..."d town. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Full marks to them. The room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom/loo was situated behind a frosted glass which up some rather strange shadows at times. The Breakfast (at nine euros forty cents) was a fair price. It was quite sufficient with fruit, yoghurt, toast with jams and honey, cakes and croissants, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, ham and cheese. All in all, this was very good and I would certainly stay here again when visiting Nantes. " More >
