If the Scottish weather is a let-down, wet clothes can be taken to dry out; on the other hand, if the weather is obliging, there are 4 different areas in the beautiful grounds for sitting outside, with or without refreshments. The gardens are super, with lots of birds and some bunnies too. The piece de resistance is Jackie, who goes to no end of trouble to make your stay enjoyable and is a marvellous cook.
