The breakfast is first class and always hot, fresh tasting and sets you up for the day. Another added touch is the honesty bar and it is a shame it doesn't get used more than it does but still is an added bonus. The room we stayed in had it's own fridge too which was ideal to cool drinks down etc. From here you can visit many places from seaside resorts to National Trust properties and you will always find plenty to do in this area. Lots of nice personal touches such as bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, tea, fresh coffee, chocolate bars, sweets and bottled water as well as a personalised welcome letter. The owner made a point of introducing himself to us at breakfast the next morning which we really appreciated and made us feel very welcome.
