Sitting right on the beach, & at the end of a road with a gated secure entrance /drive it's a grea..."t location as it has its own beach without passing tourists or locals dropping in. It's great to fall asleep to the sound of breaking waves & wake to the birds in the trees and surrounding woodland. Bedroom was large & comfortable with minimal furniture but adequate storage & a decent bathroom. Great open, airy restaurant location overlooking the quiet tree fringed beach, great service, but expensive uninspiring evening meals.....ok at the time until you eat elsewhere in T & T. The Friday night BBQ round the pool was a pleasant change & all day availability of complimentary tea & coffee appreciated. The room itself, a bit on the small side with two double beds would have been better with a king, and we could hear snoring from the next room so we had to move to the bed away from the lock-off door. Otherwise it was fine. We stayed as part of a birding venture package which included all meals as well as the glass bottom boat trip to Little Tobago and as such was a bargain.   "We were statying up in Speyside for couple of nights and found Blue Waters Inn and wished we had found it before booking our other accomodation. We initially just popped in for a drink and were welccomed by Juniper at the pool bar. Her friendliness and welcome made us return for dinner. The hotel..." is very peaceful and tranquil, all public areas are impeccably clean and everything is very well maintained, the beach is lovely with plenty of shelter from the palm trees and fantastic views of Little Tobago and Goat Island. When we returned in the evening we were not disappointed with the welcome from the other staff. The barman was a font of information and a great guy to talk to. The food, setting and atmosphere were all excellent, quiet and laid back. We returned the following evening for dinner and it was the Caribbean night, also the night before the jazz festival so the place was buzzing - it was great.
