  "Well last year I wrote a not too favourable review of this complex, however having visited this hotel for the past 14 years I decided to go again this year. To my delight a lot of issues I raised last year had been addressed. Firstly they are still running a program for the french which I dont agree..." with (I visit jamaica for the Jamaican lifestyle not french, english,american or any other - if thats what I wanted I'd visit that particular country). I chose to visit 8th may 2013 and the french crew left by the 10th. The complex itself is beautiflul the grounds rooms and public areas all very well maintained. The boys on the beaches keep them immaculate. The food although good is not as good as it was 10 years ago but better than some more expensive hotels I have stayed in and the restaurants are spotlessly clean. I had mentioned it to the staff in the Don Pablo lounge w..."hen we checked in, and when my wife & I returned from dinner that first night, we were overwhelmed with how the room had been decorated with lit candles, balloons, rose pedals, and a bubble bath that had been prepared for my wife to enjoy. In addition, they left us a bottle of iced down champagne with two glasses. This was extremely thoughtful and wonderfully overwhelming!! The resort is beautiful. I understand it is only 5 years old, so it is in extremely good shape. The landscaping and gardens are kept up beautifully! You can't go wrong with the half dozen restaurants.   "If you are going to Jamaica like to have fun, enjoy great service, not be crowded, enjoy spacious beautiful rooms (Diamond) then JEWEL DUNN is the place. Great pool, foods people etc - I could go on but no need to -everything was great and I've traveled the world. What we liked the most it is not ..."crowded like a mega resort but services and amenities are equal. Never a problems getting into a restaurant, seat at pool or bars. No negatives just a couple of comments - except for Beach Party nights the nightlife is limited.
