The beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and the water is warm and calm. You can enjoy a lite lunch at the beach café which is right on the beach and is very relaxed. Breakfast is included in the rate which is an enormous plus since I paid approximately $30 in other hotels in the Caribbean for a pot of coffee and a fruit plate. The spa is large and offers great treatments. Do not expect over the top glitz and glam but enjoy understated luxury. This hotel delivers excellent value in one of the most beautiful locations I have visited in the Caribbean. I look forward to returning very soon. " More >

I was slightly concerned because of the few negative reviews, but usually only the very expensive, fancy resorts have perfect ratings (even some of those don't!), so I took a chance. I'm SO glad I did! Pros - Unlike a couple of the previous negative reviews, our villa was perfectly clean! It's definitely older and basic, but it was very clean, and I'm a clean freak! Every day we could tell when the maids had visited because when we opened the door, all we could smell was fresh laundry, like dryer sheets.
