  "This is the charming Brantwood cottage where we stayed at in Blackheath. We enjoyed the most relaxing 3 days there. The surroundings were beautiful and the décor of the cottage is devine and we appreciated the style and care that was given to the presentation both inside and out. I still think of the pleasant times on the front verandah sipping coffee and eating the fresh pastries we had bought at the local Café. The main bedroom was especially beautiful with French Doors that opened on to the front verandah. Having central heating was an added bonus so we were lovely and cozy. It was so peaceful just to stretch out on the lounge and read.   "We stayed on the Ironfest weekend 2013 for two nights in a twin room. The room had three single beds but was rather small and while it accommodated one adult and one child comfortably one more would be a squeeze. The bathroom was huge! And catered for people with disabilities. It was more of a wet r..."oom, so EVERYTHING got wet when we had a shower. We requested more towels and were granted three. Our room was the closest to the highway but most traffic had calmed by 11pm. I liked the decor. I have stayed in a few lower end motels over the past two years and this motel gets an extra half a circle from me because it had wooden furniture, not dated cheap plastic or metal. Unfortunately, like every low end motel the soundproofing was woeful. I could hear what our neighbours were watching on TV very clearly. I was just grateful they were well-behaved and went to bed fairly early. Wifi didn't reach our room. TV was big and had a built in DVD player which was handy. It was a shame the res... " More >
